Bookings And More

Over the years I’ve played everything from festivals to weddings, birthdays to wakes, political benefits to warehouse parties, beaches to tents, backrooms to big venues.

I’m happy to play the kind of music Jumpin’ With Stagger Lee is all about – soul, reggae, rhythm & blues, sixties garage, funk etc – or to tailor what I play to whatever you need. So if you want a specifically reggae DJ, or a soul DJ, or an indie DJ or a blues DJ, I can do that too. For weddings and the like, I take the time to discuss with the hosts what sort of thing they’re looking for to make sure they get exactly the sort of mix of music they’d like.

I usually play vinyl if it’s a Jumpin’ style night but I’m happy to use a laptop (run through the venue DJ mixer or directly into the PA). For weddings and such, I usually use a laptop so I can provide a wider range of tunes.

I can provide decks and a mixer if they’re not available at the venue, and also have a small P.A. which is suitable for most pubs / bars etc, all for reasonable prices.

I primarily DJ around Newcastle and the north-east these days but I’m happy to travel if your budget permits (standard train rather than business class jet, obvs)

During Lockdown, I both provided specially curated mixes to be played at parties and did some livestreaming DJing too, so these are also options.

I currently have a weekly radio show on Repeater Radio and in the past on Basic FM, Cowbell FM and The Neon Hospice.

Places I’ve played (or run club nights) include (among many others):

Glastonbury Festival (many times) / Brixton Academy / The Cluny / Beatherder Festival / Brixton Mass / Brixton Jamm / Newcastle Cobalt / Newcastle Ernest / Newcastle Dat Bar / Gateshead Sage / Newcastle Tyneside Cinema / Newcastle Cumberland Arms / Stockton Globe Theatre / Secret Garden Party / Dublin Electric Picnic / Metaponto Unsound Festival / Newcastle The Globe / Brixton Dog Star Bar / Vintage Festival / Beautiful Days Festival / Hebden Bridge Trades Club / Brixton Windmill and dozens more.
